  BEWARE!
  In March of 2014 I made a reservation with Service Creek for 2 night in June (16 & 17), $250.
  There was no confirmation of the reservation and I would not have known it to have been
  made except for my account being charged on 4-13-2014. On May 6, 2014 I found that my
  vacation time had been cancelled. The next morning I cancelled my reservation with Service
  Creek. On May 10, 2014 my account was credited for the cancellation, $150. Now I have read
  Service Creeks Polices and find nothing about them withholding funds for cancellations made in excess of 30 days of the reservation.

  You don't have much choice for accommodations around there. Next time we bring the camper & sleep by the road. It will be much quieter and way cheaper.
  Walls are paper thin, 50 years of dust under the bed, black light turned up some unsavory stains, bathrooms on the other side of the hall from the rooms. We were told in no uncertain terms not to touch anything in the kitchen other than the sink, Mr coffee machine, or microwave. Noisy friends of the owners (I was told later) came past our room at 3:30AM banging doors & talking loud. The floors are covered with century old vinyl, which would be nice atmosphere if it wasn't so noisy when walked on at night.
